    Zeer onklantvriendelijk - dus zeker niet Social

    Misleiding bij Social Deal!

    Onacceptabele benadering bij het willen terug geven van een deal! Geboekt bij een restaurant onder de melding op de website van social deal: 7 dagen per week te gebruiken! Ik wil reserveren 6 weken voor de vervaldatum van de bon, dus heeeeeeel ruim op tijd. Blijkt er alleen reserveerbare ruimte op de maandag en dinsdag. Dat zijn de dagen dat ik nooit kan! Al met al: 30 euro weggegooid! Social deal houdt voet bij stuk: hun informatie klopt (meestal) wel, en ze nemen de voucher niet terug.

    Al met al zou ik willen zeggen: Social deal: niks sociaals aan, een hele aso-sociale organisatie, waarbij ik mijn account ga opzeggen!

    Je bent een rund als je met deals van Social Deal stunt!

    Too little too late

    I was a customer with Groupon for a number of years...I imagine that I spent no less than 1000e while associated with them... Sometimes I would buy 2 or 3 for the same restaurant, only to discover that it was not an enjoyable experience from the first visit... sometimes I just didn't get to it... and sometimes the restaurant would close... NEVER, not ONCE, did they give me a problem concerning a refund...then this company morphs into 'Social Deal. Not a problem, I think. Until the two times when I waited until the deal was about to expire, find myself trying to access the voucher, and my device keeps shunting me to an app. This proved frustrating and embarrassing and I abandoned each effort. When I contacted Social Deal, their response was, 'Did you call us?'. To be honest, since both occurred after 6pm, AND I was flustered, it didn't beGIN to occur to me. They refused to refund my money. The restaurant connected with my last deal closed. So they credited my account. My Social Deal account. I asked them to credit whatever personal account, credit card or bank, that I paid from. They refused. Now what sort of 'social' is that, I ask you? Hence, I felt socially obligated to write this to inform potential clients what to expect from this company. The choice is, of course, yours in the end. I just wanted you to know what to expect should problems arise.

    insulting that they would react only after I publish letters like this. same reaction, in fact, to a SECOND letter on FB as the one on google. must be prewritten or something. I'm sorry that I have to waste my time like this.
